Night Driving

Night Driving Lessons – King Driving School

Master the Road, Day and Night

Driving at night requires a different set of skills than daytime driving. At King Driving School, we provide structured and supportive Night Driving Lessons to help learner drivers safely navigate the challenges of driving after dark. Whether you’re just starting your night hours or looking to polish your skills, we tailor each session to suit your experience and confidence level.

What You’ll Learn:

  • Improved Vision Techniques: Learn how to scan the road effectively and adapt to limited visibility.
  • Managing Glare: Practice techniques to reduce the impact of oncoming headlights and reflections.
  • Using Lights Correctly: Understand when and how to use your headlights, high beams, and fog lights appropriately.
  • Dealing with Fatigue: Learn to recognize signs of tiredness and understand why night driving can be more fatiguing.
  • Hazard Perception: Identify and respond to common night-time hazards, such as pedestrians, cyclists, and wildlife.
  • City vs. Suburban Night Driving: Gain experience in a range of environments, from quiet streets to busy night-time traffic.

Logbook Requirement

In NSW, learner drivers are required to complete a minimum of 20 hours of supervised night driving as part of the 120-hour logbook requirement. All of our night lessons qualify towards this, and we can help guide you through maintaining and updating your logbook accurately.
